Meet Dart Architects. Known for approaching architecture with awareness and rigour, founder James Dart was keen to do whatever he could to balance the environmental impact of their work. They joined us as a partner in 2023.

“There is a bit of guilt involved in what we do – the carbon use and footprint of housing is a lot. I’m always looking for ways we can be more sustainable and give back. I saw an Instagram post from Plant One and was immediately struck that this was a local company, restoring woods here in Cornwall. We saw various companies we knew that were already partnering with them, and we liked the idea of joining an alliance of other likeminded businesses.”

“Trees are wonderful things”

“Everyone’s been under a tree, climbed a tree at some point. When I heard Carl’s story of how the UK used to be a wooded isle, and how much woodland we’ve lost, I knew we needed to help restore it.”
