Volunteering with Plant One is a chance to get outdoors, meet brilliant people, and do something that makes a real difference.
Volunteering with Plant One is a chance to get outdoors, meet brilliant people, and do something that makes a real difference.
Come along for a community planting day, join us with your workmates, or lend your skills behind the scenes. You don’t need any experience in tree planting or woodland creation – just a love of nature and a willingness to get stuck in.
However you get involved, this is a great way to take meaningful action for nature and biodiversity. And we’d love you to be part of it.
“We are always made to feel so welcome and it feels brilliant to get your hands dirty and then see all the progress you've made at the end of the day.”
Volunteer at our planting day
Our community volunteering days are open to anyone and you don’t need any experience – we’ll teach you the process and skills needed to create and care for woodlands. Our planting and woodland wellbeing days take place in the South West, mostly in Cornwall.
You’ll get your hands dirty, meet some blimmin brilliant people, and go home knowing you have helped to create new homes for nature.
Join our Whatsapp group to be first to know about volunteering days.
We also hold partner planting and woodland wellbeing days for businesses where you can bring your whole team.

If you’re studying, or looking to get into, conservation, woodland creation and management and ecology, volunteering with us helps you get hands-on experience, expand your knowledge and build your CV.
We also hold special student volunteer days with Falmouth and Exeter Universities throughout the season, which include transport and lunch. And we offer longer-term placements and research opportunities. To get involved, send us an email to hello@plantone.co.uk
We also have a handful of people who volunteer to keep Plant One running smoothly behind the scenes. From finance to marketing to admin. If you have a skill you think might be useful, we’d love to talk to you. To get involved, send us an email to hello@plantone.co.uk
